Dr. Uma Chintapalli, MD
Dr. Uma Chintapalli graduated from Rangaraya Medical College in India in 1990. She completed her residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey - a Mt. Sinai affilitated hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Chintapalli believes that medicine is an art. As such she believes in practicing medicine to provide a higher quality of care, not just to sustain a business. She believes that medicine should be available to all that need it, at affordable prices, with minimal waiting time and inconvenience to the patient. She believes in fairness, honesty, and integrity, in both her personal and professional life.
She lives in Plano, with her husband, Chandra, also an ER physician, who is also a Board Certified Internist, and their three children. In her spare time, Dr. Chintapalli enjoys travelling, learning new cultures, reading, and is currently pursuing her executive MBA at UTD. She is an active member of Toastmasters International.
Megan Cusack, RN, FNPC
Megan Cusack, our Nurse Pracititioner, graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton in 2006. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Pracititoners as well as North Texas Nurse Practitioners.
Megan believes that medicine is both an art and a science. As such, she strives to provide individualized, holistic care to each member within a family, with emphasis on wellness and prevention. She values the trust placed in her by her patients, and appreciates the one-on-one relationships she is able to build with her patients, while treating the entire family.
Megan lives a short drive from our clinic with her husband, Chris, and their dog, Willie. When not at work, Megan enjoys travelling, snow skiing, reading, cooking, and visiting with her family.
She is very excited to be a part of Urgent Care Clinic of Plano.
